So you believe all the people at the Jan 6th rally were unAmerican assholes?
As I stated earlier, I support anyone's right to protest up until it becomes a crime (violent, looting, destruction of prop, ect)
Also if possible please answer the original question, other then Jan 6th name me one person in our entire country who has been found guilty of parading, demonstrating, or picketing over the last couple of years
There are none. No one before has paraded, picketed, erected a gallows, threatened to hang the VP and SOTH, or demonstrated inside the capitol after forceful entry without permission at the direction of a sitting president while congress was in the process of certifying a free and fair election certified by all fifty states both Democrat and Republican led.
Yes they are fu*king un-American assholes. He lost and, like him, they are too immature to accept it.
Those who stayed peacefully outside the barriers have nothing to fear.

This is the entire video. The part you played earlier was edited. In it, he clearly states that the arguments in his memo were valid, and that Pence could have overthrown the election, which is simply wrong. Pence never had that constitutional authority. By the way, this guy you are trying to defend, has several times said his memo was "crazy and "not viable". And also, he is being called to testify in the Jan. 6 investigation. Let's see if he shows up.

Willfully ignorant. Clearly Lou is unfamiliar with this memo or too lazy to read it.

I never said it was an admission of guilt. I said it was stonewalling and it seems like obstruction of justice. The investigation is attempting to find out the facts, and the key players are refusing to testify. It sure looks like guilt to me. So, you say you want to 100% know all the facts. Should these people who are defying the subpoenas be held in contempt? Or are you just giving lip service to an illusion of transparency?
LVT I shouldn't have phrased it as an admission of guilt instead more of a guilt by silence kinda thing. I'm a hell of a carpenter but not a lawyer, for me if you are subpoenaed and do not show you should be held in some kind of contempt (but I try not to speak about what I don't know about). You will never get lip service from my end. I think everything in government should be on record for everyone to see therefor ensuring transparency

Poppa why be a JO? I have not seen it, I didn't know of its existence, and I want to see it, give me enough time to check it out and I will post back accordingly. Don't come out swinging because we sit on opposite sides of the isle. I want the truth. period.

Read this article and then you will know a little bit more about the investigation and the stonewalling. By the way, your earlier post quoted an article that only about 106 people have been found guilty out of some 500 charged in the insurrection. The article said 106 have pleaded guilty. That means there are still about 400 more who are still awaiting trial. Most jurisdictions don't charge people unless they have fairly compelling evidence.

Fair enough, but it has been out there for a while so maybe you should be questioning why your news sources didn’t report it.
It’s a six step plan to overturn the election.

I've noticed you guys keep using the word insurrection. How many people have been charged with insurrection? I noticed you used the phrase 'trying to overthrow the government. How many people have been charged with this? You stated Trump was involved with the planning of the Jan 6th incident, where's your proof of this and has he been charged with anything? One thing I can promise you is if Trump did anything wrong they would be trying to nail him to the stake.

I think you lack an understanding of the legal system, case building in particular. When someone fails at their intended crimes, it is often difficult to make a case for their intended crimes.

LVT Just read the article and I cannot get past some points that I have read. First it says Trump is 'reportedly' advising, second its states 'the letter, according to politico' (if they have a letter then show it), then it states Trump will use executive privilege (there is no executive privilege for past presidents), Biden has the right to expose this to daylight, if its true he should do so. We should all want the truth but that word does not carry the weight it once did. You are correct on the pleaded guilty, that being said it is hard to not plead guilty to parading, demonstrating, and picketing when they have footage of you doing those things. A lot of Americans have done all these things and yet only the Jan 6th people have been found guilty of a crime because of them, thats not right
