I voted for the man mainly to keep us from going off a cliff. Mission and so much more accomplished.

I am very proud of the old man on the left. He gets things done that are in all of our best interest. The old man on the right breaks the law, breaks all sorts of moral codes like lying and cheating and finally is the leader that wants to end our Democracy. Those that support the old man on the right will regret the day when they no longer can choose who represents us...

She needs to get a SOWAL account. We've got a whole journal right here.
I'm fairly sure a lot of those epic back pages of this thread accurately predicted what his behavior has become. He has done even more heinous things than we ever predicted. Saying "we told you so", doesn't even come close to this nightmare. The latest revelation is that CIA briefers had to be quite clever in trying to keep him from pocketing top secret documents. Most likely he was planning to sell them to Vladimer, his soul mate.

I have to share part of an article from the Louisville Courier Journal. This republican secretary of state is so unrepublican. I wish he would leave the party but maybe he's going to try to change from within? Very un kentucky like:

"The Kentucky State Board of Elections voted unanimously Tuesday to certify the victories of six Republicans in primaries where losing candidates filed recount petitions, despite several of those cases still pending before courts.

Republican Secretary of State Michael Adams, the board’s chairman, indicated before the vote that only two races with a recount petition were relatively close, with one petition already being dismissed and the other race having a recount last week that showed no change in the outcome.

“We’ve had enough harm to our taxpayers and to our democracy by these folks,” Adams said before the vote to certify the general election ballot. “It’s time to put an end to this madness and certify these people and let them get on with their fall campaigns.”

:creepy::yikes::doh:

These people are thoroughly broken, yet I can't muster an ounce of sympathy for them.

This might be old news. Trump says he is willing to use his magical powers to calm things down. Instead it comes off as an obvious threat.

"Donald Trump sent an ally with access to the DOJ to "pass along a message" to Attorney General Garland that "the country is on fire" and Trump is willing to act "to reduce the heat," according to the New York Times. The unusual attempt to secretly back channel with the DOJ, after Trump's home was searched and as he is the subject of multiple investigations, comes amidst "a spike in threats" to police identified by FBI director Christopher Wray, and several alarming incidents and arrests. MSNBC's Chief Legal Correspondent Ari Melber reports on the violent context for Trump's "message," and the failure of efforts to negotiate or "appease" individuals threatening violence to deter the rule of law. "
