Enough with the stump analogy. (You know there are chemicals you can pour on a stump to accelerate its decay.) If you think fortifying every school in America is the answer to school shootings, then insanity has just won the day. No other countries in the world have this gun culture. None. I know it would be a very long, long process, but the Federal Government could pass some gradual gun control measures that simply reduce the availability of assault weapons, just to signal to the citizenry that weapons of war are not acceptable. It may be a somewhat poor analogy (but probably better than digging a stump) but America has shown that public awareness campaigns have worked on, at least, two major public health issues, smoking tobacco and seat belts, to reduce senseless deaths. Just something to think about while you are getting blisters digging on that stump. I'll get the truck keys.

I would say the insanity of onesiderism has won the day and our children lose. You do not like to work hard I get it. You just want to blame others for not doing what you want them to do. Ridiculous nonsense to me. By the way pouring chemicals on a stump is something Donald Trump would do

Love that the solution to our insurance problem was to MANDATE the purchase of more insurance. Remember when Republicans were going to die on the cross rather than be forced to buy health insurance?

Did I stump you when I asked you why the Republicans are against ANY gun control? If you haven't noticed, rhetoric about digging stumps is rhetoric. Actively calling out people to condemn the party that is actively promoting pro gun adulation is a step, or shovel full, in the right direction.

Matt do you really believe you are superior in morality and superior in you awareness and management of prejudice to all groups of people including republicans? If the answer is yes then I would presume that you and Donald Trump are a lot alike The problems I have with the Republican Party is too long to list because I am busy digging stumps. The problems I have with the Democratic Party is a shorter list but one is that they are have become complacent and lazy. That stems from the fact that most seem to feel superior to a "republican", a "christian" and certainly a "trump supporter". Look up the definition of Prejudice. You will never have enough information to classify yourself as less prejudice as someone else unless you grab a shovel and start digging around that stump. You need to know the full history of another person not just who they support in politics. Your assumptions may be right but they may be wrong until you do the work. So what does that mean do the work? It means engage in conversation and debate. It means that you have to listen and not react. It means that you will have to control your emotions. Believe me I am not that good at it either but I am trying to learn. You and many others do not want to do the hard work. Why?

So you are prejudiced against boomers right? Not only are you prejudiced but you go even further and become belligerent, accusatory and judgemental and you do these things without adequate information. It is the same thing that trump supporter do against liberals. You are really no different in my opinion and no need to answer why. I talk to trump supporters a lot and I realize why they have anger toward people like yourself. I am so glad that me boomer tried to teach my children to be open minded, paid for my education and my 3 children's college education and know how to use a shovel!
