I am interested in your lack of concern of Covid-19. Do you believe that there is nothing we can do, or should do to defeat Covid-19 other than go about our business as normal. I agree with you that Fauci did not have complete confidence in wearing a mask in the beginning but after understanding how the virus spreads he quickly corrected and encouraged everyone to wear a mask. Now we know that Covid-19 spreads primarily thru dispersion of micro droplets from our respiratory system from talking, breathing, coughing and sneezing close to another person. I encourage you to study this virus because it has a weapons system perfect for a host that does nothing to try and reduce the spread and there are million of us who have not got it yet. For every 100 people who get it almost 4 will die as in die making this a life or death problem. That percentage goes up if you have heart disease, lung disease (even asthma), compromised immunity from drugs or disease and get this even your blood type is a factor. If you have any other blood type than O then your odds go up for severe symptoms. Maybe you don't know what severe symptoms are so I will explain: NOT BEING ABLE TO BREATHE LEADING TO DEATH. Imagine what that must have been like for over 220,000 people who have died in our country alone. Maybe your perspective is the politics that Donald Trump aspires to but if you try and understand how every one of those deaths effect family, friends and even our economy then maybe just maybe you would prefer to wear a mask. Everyone refusing to wear a mask is exactly why this virus survives. Are you sure your political beliefs are not hurting us?

It is very possible that Trump and the republican party and Fox news have convinced millions of people that there is nothing we can do to stop the spread of the virus so we just as well ignore the pain and suffering and death of hundreds of thousands and focus on the economy. If that is the case then many thousands more of us will die or suffer long term problems from a virus that is determined to damage and kill us. Maybe determined is the wrong word for a virus I really don't know but I have looked at the science of Covid-19 and it is very capable of surviving and inflicting damage and death. Not all of us will get a vaccine in time or have access to monoclonal antibodies like Trump or anyone else who have priority over most of us. I prefer to have hope that even Trump supporters and republicans will learn more about this virus before accepting that thousands more of us will die instead of doing such an easy thing as wearing a mask. Surely they have a conscience right? If everyone listened to their conscience instead of fox news then we would not need to mandate wearing a mask but apparently fox news and the entire republican party will have to answer for everyone of these deaths. I hope this election will fire the whole bunch...
Because there is a conscience in there somewhere. Anyway that is my hope but I have been wrong before. Before Donald Trump became President I did not realize how so many people are able to put politics or greed or selfish behavior over conscience. I thought it was just the extremist on both sides. Low (very low) and behold it is the entire Fox news network, the republican party and almost all Christians. It was a shocking revelation to me. I know these people have a conscience though because I have seen the goodness in almost all Trump supporters that I know. Their problem is fear. It allows false prophets to control them somehow. Then there are some who have sold their soul. My conversation with Huckabee (Reggie Gaskins) and his puppets about private beaches kind of opened my eyes to that truth. Wealth cares more about protecting wealth than caring about anything else including other humans. When you can justify your privileges, justify the inequality, justify your selfish behaviors and finally justify poor people and old people dying then something is wrong with your conscience. Hopefully that is a small percentage but those who sell their souls and have power are dangerous people. My advice to the Trump supporters that I know is to learn how to recognize false prophets who are controlling you with fear. Use the brain. Engage the conscience. Come back to the planet earth...

If they had a conscience they wouldn’t vote for trump. If they had empathy they wouldn’t vote for trump. If they were patriots they wouldn’t vote for trump. Sacrifice used to be a proud American virtue, but under this nasty man it’s all about me first. Asking them to consider the well-being of society is state sponsored oppression.
