No one has an answer for the immigration problem. Nobody. The root cause is the overwhelming poverty, income disparity, and corruption in Central American countries, primarily. Biden is doing the best he can on that front. Trump's answer was a humongous publicity stunt. And a humongous tax cut for the wealthy. Nobody seems to remember that he and Mitch passed that in his FIRST MONTH IN OFFICE. And then he proceeded to dismantle all American institutions, including the DOJ, NATO, FBI, CIA, etc. These institutions were primarily being run by Republicans, when he started. Ponder that, for a while. Comey, Mueller, McCabe, all Republicans. The list goes on. Trump is a psychopath who cares about no one but himself, and if you think his agenda is in your best interest, then you are a fool.
