It basically about two sad individuals, an Octo-mom type getting continually knocked up by Levi Johnson type (Palins daughter boyfriend), and their televised misadventures in raising ( or as some think abusing) their children on live T.V. ,while making buckets of money, showing America all the stress and difficulty of being married and rasing children.

Trash TV at its finest, minus the trailer.

They're not octuplets. I don't watch the show, but I think she had two (not sure if they were twins or two single births) and then sextuplets. Can someone confirm for poor Lynnie?

I never knew who these people were until the Teutels built Jon a bike on an episode of Orange County Choppers, and they were practically on the whole show.

All I could think was, what a b**tch. And Jon was just sort of a lump, but I gave him the benefit of the doubt, thinking, who would open their mouth in front of her?

They made the Teutels look like the Nelsons.

They are a reality show much like many other reality shows that are very popular. The twins are 8 the sextuplets are 5 and they did in vitro and got 8 kids. They had huge bills and expenses and were approached by TLC about doing a few shows about what it is like in the daily life of multiples. Sadly due to the popularity of the show, a few episodes became forty and lots of money involved and they both became celebrities and the problems began.

A commentator on GMA just called the public interest in Jon & Kate "American rubbernecking." So true. Our entertainment culture seems to be based on Americans love of a good train wreck. Yuck.
