OMG, BR...that is some huge TEXAS sized hail!! Is the residue from asphalt shingles (composition)? I bet your landscape took a beating as well. One silver lining in the dark cloud...you will be making a claim in GA, not FL!
Oh, P.S.....it is 82 degrees today and more fires are popping up in the countryside. Someone get Mother Nature on the horn and ask her what's her beef!!!!

Apparently there are a kajillion people in line ahead of me for roof repair estimates, a prerequisite for the insurance company to file a claim, since we just got back from the beach last night. That's the downside to our being at the beach and missing the bad weather here.

At least it wasn't baseball or softball sized hail, that was reported in some areas of GA last evening. I saw quarter sized hail last night and a green sky to go along with it. The largest hail I have ever seen was golf ball sized hail, and that was back in 1998 when a tornado passed within a 1/4 mile from my house.

And bsmart, I saw on the ATL news all of the homes with incredible damage from the tornadoes. Makes needing a new roof look trivial. You know the weather was bad if they interrupted CNN's coverage of the coal mine disaster to report on tornadoes in the ATL area.
