Quit sending everything to China to be made so we can open our factories , our steel mills, our mining operations etc and send back the illegals to whatever country they are from...and we just might be able to pull ourselves out of the mess that our voted officials got us into....and yes...they are both Democrats and Republicans! This is not just a Bush mess....been coming on for years....did anyone think we could keep going on in this country with just a service economy?????? We need to make things here and not depend on other countries! This country was built on hard work....people are ready to work hard again!!

I too believe that way too many people overextended themselves and now we are all paying the price. We, as my husband and I, have always made sure that we have put plenty aside for retirement and emergencies! I understand there is a big part of America that has to live pay check to pay check, but there is also the group that has always tried to live up to the Jones....guess what...the Jones are broke!!
I have to blame the country as a whole too for allowing alot of this to go on. I think it's time to write letters, protest, whatever it takes for our government to hear us. As a person that remembers Vietnam, it's time to get out there and be heard!! Hiding won't help a thing!

I don't believe that the Jones' are broke yet but I do believe that under President Obama we are headed in that direction. The War on Prosperity has just begun.

This is exactly what people need to here, regardless of "permission". And I hope this thread lasts - yep, there's a problem folks, and it's time we stop shutting our eyes and laying on the government's bosom until they tell us when we can go on with life again!

So much time and effort is wasted arguing amongst ourselves about piddly little details, while the heart of the matter is ignored, because it might make our stomach hurt a little.

Thanks for bringing this out Andy A. Hopefully it gets under enough peoples skin!
