They are soft...I had to touch them when I saw them at Target. Will they hold up well and not get nubby?

Well, I can't say for sure, but usually what makes fabric/garments get nubby is the synthetic fibers added. Sweaters that show the most pilling, for example, tend to be acrylic or acrylic blend knits.iwishiwasthere said:They are soft...I had to touch them when I saw them at Target. The thread count is not regulated by the govt, and some of the threads counts consider one strand of thread (which may be three single threads woven together to make one) to count as three. :shock:InletBchDweller said:Great, Someone JUST gave me some (are you ready for this) 1200 thread count 100% cotten sheets. Now after reading the article they may only be 100 or so. I can tell a difference in the quality of how they feel and my DH has been laughing at me being excited about sheets. They have only been washed once, in 6 months they may be gauze!!!.
