I doubt it. I know in some cities, they give out the automated tickets when someone runs a traffic light, but I don't believe an officer can write a ticket to the owner of the car -- only the driver of the auto, who committed the "alleged" traffic violation. Who knows, maybe they were all having a baby (even though the hospital is in the other direction and the sole occupant of the first vehicle was a man.) In the end, all the vehicles who passed, were still "stuck" behind the front-end loader until that driver pulled over. Slow the EF down before I have to pop open a can of whoop@ass.

Last week, I too, was passed on 30A, while going slightly over the speed limit (double yellow line), in Seagrove. If I would have seen him trying to pass in my mirror, I would have blocked him.
Not that I am an advocate of speeding or braking the law on the road,but... that's how some accidents occur. You know that if people are passing, breaking the law or not, your suppose to continue driving the same.

why did you let that murano in front of you?
What are you talking about? Do you like to be the cause of accidents as well? So yea they want to break the law and pass you. Do you think that kind of action will make them think, " hum, maybe I should obey the law" , yea, most likely not. Your going to do that at the wrong time someday and cause an accident. Sorry just the way I feel.:dunno:

i never pass on a double yellow line, and i feel as though if i have to obey that rule then so should everyone else, however knowing that, if that car would have tried to pass me i wouldn't have let them in front of me. that's just the way i feel.:D now, different case scenario, two lane highway driving 55+ mph, i more than likely would not do that, but when you're driving 25-35 mph why pass in the first place? just like OM said what's the hurry?

besides, i don't reside there and i have interstate traffic to deal with. you guys are lucky.

I know aggie but everyone doesn't think like us. If we have to obey the laws then everyone else should too. I do agree but unfortunatly that's not the way of the crazy world!;-)

diamonddazzler if I follow your logic I'm gonna get killed at various 3 and 4 way stop signs on 30A.

You could, you never know. JK. Now SWGB your reading into my remarks too much. I think you understand what i'm trying to say w/o being a smarta**

Sorry, I should have included a smilie to indicate the smartass comment.

Although I was half serious. I will break the 3/4 way stop rotational rules if a soccer mom with a Yukon full of hoodlums is looking desperate. Better to let her go on than have her kissing my tail pipe for the next 8 miles. ;-)
