I also love the smell of Downy, Dreft, Ivory soap, and Aveda Shampure.

I love this, too, but when I use it my husband says I smell like Deep Woods Off...nice. On him I LOVE Burt's Bees Bay Rum aftershave.

I wear an oil I can only get at Shine in New Orleans. They will ship, but if I run out I have a very good excuse to go there.

I'm a fan of the Victoria's Secret or Clinique fragrances (when I do actually wear any perfume).

And everyone please FTLOG use the "spray, delay, walk away" method. I've met people whose fragrance lingered for HOURS after they had left.

Speaking of scents which linger after the person have left, I used to know a couple of salesmen who would stop buy every week to collect orders. They would leave, then I would realize that I smelled like Brut, or some other splash on cheap aftershave. I always laughed about getting sucked into the handshake which caused me to take on their aftershave smell, but I soon began the habit of washing my hands immediately after they left.

I hate when my waitress over sprays and then my food smells and tastes like her perfume.

Isn't there some perfume rule of thumb that a person should have to be within "x" inches of you to be able to smell you? :dunno:

I have heard that if you can smell your own perfume, then it doesn't mix with your body's chemistry, and shouldn't be worn.
