KDW- are you near Huntsvegas? The job hunt has started. I just want to be happy. If that means selling maps to the county music stars homes then I'll do it!!! And those Titans! I know where they live!

I live 4 miles south of Huntsvegas...it is my hometown. I work in Huntsvegas. I was born and sorta raised here, when I wasn't traveling all over the place with my daddy. Good luck on the job hunt. You should be able to find something that you really like in Nashvegas!!!! Keep us posted!!!!

Whiteyfunn and Jessifunn know they are in the middle of heavily infiltrated SoWal territory when they move to Nashville! They are surrounded by Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, Tennessee..they can just give a holler and we'll be there to take care of them if they get homesick.

jdarg, do you get trapped in those awful Nashville traffic jams while you're on the way to SoWal? Like we do?

With two Funns in Nashville, I won't mind anymore. :D

We are usually not going through at a bad time of day. Last year we didn't leave for the beach until about 6, so we stayed down around the Cool Springs area. Then stayed in Nashville on the way back, but on a Saturday.

That's what we did on this trip! We never got out of SoWal til about 4 pm so we stopped overnight at a Days Inn. I was really surprised, since it was only $39.99 for the night, but it was a pretty good hotel (and they even gave us coffee and donuts the next morning). I think that's what we'll start doing from now on in--leave the beach as late as we can take it and then break that 12 hour trip into two!

Of course, on the way down to the beach, it'll be a straight shoot. :D

Funns, the offer stands: we'll pick you up on the way ANY time.

I live about 50 miles south of Cool Springs...it is a good area to stay. Lots of options. I go there quite often....not much where I live!
