I live about 50 miles south of Cool Springs...it is a good area to stay. Lots of options. I go there quite often....not much where I live!

It was a nice area to stop- everything very new. Stayed at the Embassy Suites there, and there was a Starbucks nearby to hit in the a.m., and it looked like some new shopping but didn't get there.

I think we stopped off there looking for a Chik-fil-a. Never found it. It was a really nice area.

Well for future trips, it is at exit 68 towards the mall. Once you cross the overpass, turn at the next traffic light to the left. It will be on the right...but there is this great restaurant, Calypso Cafe before you get to it. Caribbian( I know it is misspelled) styled food and very reasonable. My girls get a Lucian salad but I love the roasted chicken with some spicy jerk sauce and black beans....I may have to go this weekend as I am making myself hungry. :funn: One of my favorites in the area.....Whitey needs to try it when she arrives in Nashvegas.

Thanks, this is good to know. I bet we didn't go far enough when we turned. On our drive home from the beach we never stop anywhere to eat in. Too much time. 15 hours is long enough and that is just with gas and rest breaks. Calyso sounds yummy!

If it doesn't fit in your car...you don't need it. You'll be back for another load I'm sure. Be careful!!!! Don't take chances! Only 8 miles over the speed limit to be safe from the curse of RiverOtter. Kiss your Mother and keep in touch with her! Of course I know you will do that and I don't mean on the Message Board.

You are on your way to a great, new adventure - I know you will do fantastic!!! You are so smart and have so much going for you.

You will be happy to know I did not cry when you left - maybe a tear or two now - but I need to do it and go ahead and get it over with.

I am so very proud of you and am so excited for you. I remember when I moved away 31 years ago and how excited I was to be going to Birmingham. Nashvegas is going to be a blast for you!!!

You have so many great attributes - stay true to yourself - you will be just fine.
