I don't have any reservations at all about being a Democrat. The list of competent progressive people involved in the Democratic Party, people like Barack Obama, Joe Biden, Elizabeth Warren, Tim Kaine, Michele Obama, Micheal Bloomberg, Bernie Sanders, who all back Hillary Clinton makes me proud to talk about my support for this ticket. The reason there are no other voices on this forum is there is simply no way to defend the Trump mentality, and the Republican Party knows this. Reality, not religion.
Ok, I get what you are saying and I truly respect it. My only issue is that of many people who who post on this forum say they support candidate A or candidate B and say it with fervor and true belief, but they post behind screen names. I used to hear people say President Obama got elected but they couldn't find anyone who voted for him. Look I am not calling your belefs or principles into question and hope when whatever happens you can hold your head high and tell your friends and family who you voted for and why. As for me, I am pretty confident Governor Johnson will not win, and there is a few things I disagree with him about. I also have said although I have some serious issues about Ms Clinton that I can't overcome enough to vote for her, I personally believe she would be a better President than Mr Trump.

You'll have to excuse me, but I cannot comprehend how you can think Clinton is the better candidate and yet not vote for her. My brain is incapable of working that way. I can only guess that you fear some sort of divine retribution, but I could be wrong.

Think what I said was, she would be better than Mr Trump.
I try to listen, in this case to read, to understand not to reply.

Bob Wells, I guess I don't understand either. It's not a matter of being 100% behind someone (or even 55%). It is a matter of choosing the better candidate, and ensuring that the lesser (worst) candidate does not get elected. And I truly don't get why this is so hard to understand this election cycle. It has always been this way in all elections. Obviously, my position is I am voting not just for Clinton but for an entire party of truly smart, capable, and caring people who will steer this country, however so slightly, in a better direction than one loose cannon.

Although I believe Ms Clinton will be a better President than Mr Trump, I do not believe she was the best candidate who ran. I did not vote for her in the primaries for the same reasons I won't vote her in the election. Although I have issues with Governor Johnson, I would be more comfortable with him as President than either Ms Clinton or Mr Trump.

Johnson has the same chance of being elected President as Daffy Duck. As this election season progresses Clinton looks better and better while Trump is being exposed as the deplorable human trash he actually is. Checkout the Newsweek article today.

I was one of those who said a third party candidate was a wasted vote. Over time I have come to the conclusion that because of the way the 2 party system has worked over the last eight years because of rhose within the Republican party primarily but also those in leadership of the Democratic party we have in my opinion built more roadblocks than highways. My take, it is now the time for a third party to shake things up in those establishment parties. I am not trying to be like Lars, trying to deflect, or Bob, trying to play guessing games. I am just telling you where I am and why. I appreciate your views and don't necessarily disagree wuth what you say, but it is my vote and I get to choose how it will cast.

If I gave the impression I disrespected your choice I apologize, that was not my intention. I was just expressing my opinion on Johnson's chances, I have nothing against the man. Everyone is free to cast their vote how they choose.

Not at all and my intention has only been to clarify. As I said, I appreciate the different opinions and I can assure you I have heard what you have said and appreciate everyones input. Thanks and no offense was taken.

think about when I argued about the Clintons amassing 100 million through peddling influence in a most vile way. Your response was "good for her". Did you really believe that?

Curious how did the Clintons in your words amass 100 million in a ‘most vile way’?
