I'll be the one to take the hit. No he would not pass his own Questionnaire. He could not get any high clearance government job.![]()
Can I go out on a limb here and say that probably every single person over the age of 20 has at some point in his/her life had questionable affliations in their life, made friends with people who today would turn us off, etc, etc...
This is extremely idealistic, to say the least. I never needed to associate with evil, the negative, etc... to not know it when I saw it. No need for PERSPECTIVE here.Exactly, how does one learn and develope into their own person, become their own politition, unless they have access to and knowledge of evil, the negative,etc...
Any mature person or politician has seen or had some type of alliance with figures in their life that they don't necessarily regret per se, since it gives them PERSECTIVE--the skills to know it and avoid it, when they see it in the future.

I think his statement is the exact opposite of idealism if you ask me. I'ts idealistic and naive to think that every important associate in life is going to be squeaky clean.
That was my point exactly...
Yesterday's interview with that unrepentant "one" William Ayers on Good Morning America is what prompted me to start this post.
the 4th rule of a community organizer is....
"make them live up to their own rules"
Saul Alinsky
Rules for Radicals
oh, the irony![]()
I guess different people took away different points from the Ayers interview. I saw it as yet another affirmation that he was just yet another involved Chicagoan, one of many that Obama had come in contact with throughout his years of being involved in local community affairs. No sinister relationship, nothing much of anything, really. I really don't see how Obama could have totally avoided him, since Ayers is very involved in local educational issues.
Another one of those "move on, nothing to see" issues.
