Anyone else's pets have wierd habits?

My laptop just died because my cat keeps sneeking over and curling up next to the vent on the side. I'm assuming for the warmth, but then it over heats. It's like my own little homeless person.

My sister and her fiancee have a Rhodesian Ridgeback who's like a hundred pounds. He has this hysterical habit of walking between people's legs. Apparently it's a thing with Ridgebacks but it doesn't quite work when you're not tall enough. There's been a few times that he's caught me unawares and I've inadvertantly rode him across the room. Sweetest dog, though.

If I sing "Going Up the Country" by Canned Heat in a falsetto voice, our male Bullmastiff, Max, will come running from where ever he is in the house and will bonk his face right into mine. Nothing quite like having a head the size of a basketball headed right for your face!

Odd but pretty dang funny if you ask me!

The Jesus Cat has lots of weird habits:
  • In the category of singing--he sings "Gloom, Despair, and Agony" with me. (The song from "Hee Haw" with the moan at the end of every line.)
  • He likes to lie down flat, head on the floor, next to his food bowl, reach in with one paw, and flip his food out one piece at a time.
  • He has a shoe/foot fetish.
  • Very strange drinking water habits. Prefers toilets, puddles, watering cans, and sometimes the bathtub.
There are more, but I need breakfast.

I would tell about Lil Seaside's neutered Schnauzer and what he does to a stuffed lion every night (And I mean every night), but the bounds of common decency prevent me from being graphic about a s_x act between a dog and an inanimate object.

It gets embarassing to our infrequent (and never to return) guests!

LOL AIT...I had a mixed breed that did that. Talk about freaking out guests on a regular basis. But it got to be funny after some of hubby's friends learned to hold their knees together .....hehehehe grown men standing around like little girls that have to pee.!:rotfl:
My dog has a habit of lunging after flies. He hates flies. Not good when you have a 100+lb dog jumping up after them in the house. And he wont stop until he catches it. We have been :rotfl: for 30 minutes or more while he tries to catch one.

Used to have a horse that LOVED :love:to drink water out of a garden hose. You had to hold it straight up so it made like a bubble fountain. That damn horse would stand there and drink as long as you would hold the hose up. I think she could hold 500 gallons!!!
