I don't think it matters who the VEEP nominee is. Women didn't vote en masse for Ferraro, Quayle didn't hurt Bush I, Gore was a failed candidate a few times before Clinton/Gore and failed again after Clinton/Gore, Lieberman didn't bring much to Gore, and Edwards has perenially polled poorly during his campaigns. What will Obama do? Get African Americans to vote Democrat?...I don't call that groundbreaking.
