Yuk: liver, beets, olives, anchovies, licorice and anise reminds me of licorice, so that's a yuk, too. Yuk on oatmeal!

Yum: eel, sushi, frog legs, english peas (especially with carrots and smashed potatoes). Yum on grits, fried chicken, just about anything homemade, love okra!

Yum: those potato chips with blue cheese, creamy sauce! YUM!

turnips:yummy! Its actually my secret ingredient for split pea soup. I add just one turnip and it makes the final outcome creamier and more robust. ;)

I'm sort of on the fence abt arugula. sometimes its good, sometimes it overpowering. yumuck?






Calamari
(not the delicious stuff that's lightly floured & fried. I mean the stuff that's like heavy duty rubber bands.)

I love arugula, hate frisee! Bitter filler that looks like dryer lint!

Am with you on the calamari - when it gets rubbery and tentacley I am out!
