Has anyone heard of this new database (opened May 2005)? By just typing in a name, you can get anyone's address (including former addresses), phone number and date of birth. I tried it, and I am shocked that this personal information can be made public! According to the site's owners, it's legal because the data comes from publicly available government records and commercial sources.

According to info I received, you can contact the site and ask that your name be removed. They then respond with an e-mail advising that you must send them a letter requesting your info's removal.

The website is http://www.zabasearch.com ; to have the info removed, the e-mail address given is info@zabasearch.com

If this info can be made public..what's next? Our social security numbers? Height/Weight? Measurements? I'm a little wary about asking that the info be removed, because in order to do so you have to give them your e-mail address as well!

While that may be true, you certainly do not know which one is my primary address because it is not found on zabasearch.com


One of those addresses is my brother's previous address.

My info does not even list me as being born. If you are paying for zabasearch.com, I would ask for your money back.

They have my old address from 7 months ago. I'm glad! I found another Mike Breen who lives in Henderson, NV about a block away from my ex mother in law. Creepy!

Hard telling - probably from many sources. Awful lot of "public record" info is now readily accessible via internet. Most counties in US (Walton, FL among them) have property and related tax records, and civil and criminal court records available online now.
