Well, the most advanced bit of technology we have in our kitchen is a 10 old microwave. By the time we have a barcode refrigerator, you won't have the eyesight left to take stock. :clap_1:

This stuff really doesn't bother me much. You are more likely to be mugged walking through a parking lot, than you are to be looked up on-line and stalked by a lunatic. As for general privacy, don't do anything illegal or shameful and you have nothing to worry about.

The ID theft thing is more of a concern than general privacy or lunatics, and that's happening with increasing frequency these days. Given a "critical mass" of personal data, one can obtain credit, and once that happens to somebody, it takes forever to clean up the mess.
