Christmas Reflections and Holiday Events in DeFuniak Springs

Bring the entire family any night of the week or come and stay the weekend in beautiful, historic DeFuniak Springs, Florida!
Come see more than 10 million lights reflect off a perfectly round spring-fed lake glowing in holiday splendor! Enjoy a holiday family tradition that is a delight to all ages as we light up Chipley Park with the annual Christmas Reflection displays. A variety of Victorian, animal, and toy soldier cutouts, Santa’s workshop, and the grandfather clock ticking away are among the thousands of decorations that adorn these historic grounds. This event is orchestrated and hosted by the City of DeFuniak Springs. See below for free holiday special events, markets, and the Festival of Trees which complement this season's light show.
Day after Thanksgiving to New Year's Eve - Nightly, 7 days a week, 5:30 pm - 9:30 pm.
DECEMBER 28th - Lights begin at 6:30 pm, after Walton County's Bicentennial Bash Celebration!
The last car is at 9 pm. Lights are out by 9:30 pm.
Admission: $5 per person
Free for children 5 and under
Tuesday Discount for Military: $10 (for a carload of up to 6 people)
Group rates- None at this time
Walkers get in Free- Donations Accepted
Season Passes: Available for $50 (for a car load up to 6 people)
(If possible, please pick up your Season Pass in advance at City Hall. If you are unable to do so, inform the entry attendant upon arrival and ask them to check for your pass at the gate. Please ensure you have your emailed payment receipt with you for verification when picking up your pass.)

Christmas Tour of Homes in Historic DeFuniak Springs - Saturday, Dec. 7th, 2024 from 10 AM to 5 PM. Sponsored by St. Agatha's Episcopal Church in DeFuniak Springs.
Step into the holiday spirit and celebrate the season with the annual Christmas Tour of Homes in historic DeFuniak Springs on Saturday, December 7. Filled with holiday joy, the tour runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and features 20 beautiful homes, churches, and businesses. The tour kicks off a day-long series of festivities around beautiful Lake DeFuniak and its charming and vibrant downtown business district—a Main Street America community member with numerous shopping and dining opportunities. Throughout the day, at several tour locations, there will be book signings from regional authors, costumed carolers, musical performances and church history at St. Agatha’s, storytelling about Northwest Florida Pioneers, and more! Homes on tour are rich in history and represent various types of architecture and personalities. They are selected for a variety of reasons including unique architecture or history, outstanding Christmas decorations, interesting owners and/or furnishings, or unique collections!

Photos with SANTA! Bring the family out to the City of DeFuniak Springs, Amphitheatre (on Circle Drive @ The Lake Yard) and get your 2024 photos with Santa Claus, while you visit Christmas Reflections. Photos with Santa will be available on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays - 5:30 pm - 9:00 pm.
The Grinch will be in person at Christmas Reflections beginning November 29th and 30th, 2024, December 6th, 20th, & 21st, 2024. From 5:30 pm to 9:00 pm, he will be lurking around Santa at the amphitheater. You'll spot him I'm sure. Don't miss out on the Grich fun!
