From Broadway to Oz: Sinfonia Season 21 Has It All

Sinfonia Gulf Coast was founded in 2005 on Florida’s Northwest Gulf Coast with the mission of redefining the symphony experience. Under the guidance of founder and Music Director Demetrius Fuller and a dedicated board of directors, the nonprofit orchestra is dedicated to curating innovative musical programming, designed to entertain, educate and inspire the community.

Notable guest artists have included: Tony- and Emmy-winning star Kristin Chenoweth; Broadway legends Bernadette Peters and Patti LuPone; R&B icon Roberta Flack, Mary Wilson of the Supremes; composer and performer Chris Brubeck; music narrator Jamie Bernstein, the Sao Paulo String Quartet; classical-crossover sensation Time for Three; The Hot Sardines; Manhattan Piano Trio; Epic recording artist Morgan James; Tony Award-winning vocalists Cheyenne Jackson, Gary Mauer and Debbie Gravitte; Grammy-nominated violinist Caroline Goulding; Grammy-award winners John Pizzarelli, Howard Levy, Tracy Silverman, the Parker Quartet, New York Voices, The von Trapps and iconic big band Pink Martini.

Since its founding, Sinfonia Gulf Coast has presented more than 700 concerts and events that have reached over 500,000 patrons, has collaborated with numerous nonprofits and businesses throughout the community and has reached more than 200,000 children through its Sinfonia Guest Artists in the Schools program/music education outreach initiatives.

Local community partnerships have included collaborations with Mattie Kelly Arts Foundation, through the “Paint the Music” program and free orchestra concerts for third through eighth graders; the Northwest Florida Ballet; the Cultural Arts Alliance of Walton County; and the Okaloosa Arts Alliance.

The Manhattan Transfer

Returning to the Sinfonia stage, the exceptional voices of Peter Eldridge, Kim Nazarian, Darmon Meader, and Lauren Kinhan bring their Grammy Award-winning harmonies, inventive arrangements, and seamless blend of jazz, pop, and Brazilian influences. This rare, intimate performance offers a final opportunity to experience one of the most influential vocal groups of our time as they take the stage together for one last tour. Evening includes valet, a sparkling wine reception, a multi-course dinner, wine, gratuity, and performance. Tickets are $375 per person, with proceeds benefiting Sinfonia Gulf Coast and its music education and community engagement initiatives throughout Northwest Florida.

Follow the Yellow Brick Road as one of cinema's most beloved classics comes to life in an unforgettable concert experience. Watch The Wizard of Oz on the big screen while Sinfonia Gulf Coast performs Herbert Stothart's Academy Award-winning score live, perfectly synchronized with every magical moment. From "Over the Rainbow" to the Emerald City and beyond, this spectacular evening celebrates the timeless film that has enchanted generations of audiences. Please note that this is an outdoor venue—lawn seating requires you to bring your own low-back chair or blankets, while table seating is reserved. Tickets are $25 per person for Lawn Seating ($15 student / $20 military) and $45 per person for Table Seating.
 

Howard Levy & Beethoven's Symphony No. 8

Internationally acclaimed for revolutionizing harmonica technique, Howard Levy transformed the instrument into a true concert soloist capable of performing across classical, jazz, folk, and world music. The program features the world-premiere performance of his groundbreaking Eastern European Harmonica and Piano Concerto for Single Soloist, a vibrant four-movement work inspired by the rich musical traditions of Bulgaria, Romania, Greece, Turkey, and the Balkans. The evening also includes Beethoven's Symphony No. 8, a compact yet remarkably expressive masterpiece that races from its opening measures through playful humor, lyrical warmth, and one of Beethoven's most exhilarating finales. Holiday Pops with The North Stars

Featuring acclaimed performers from Broadway productions including Hamilton, Wicked, The Lion King, Jersey Boys, The Book of Mormon, Hadestown, and more, the ensemble brings fresh, electrifying arrangements that blend Broadway favorites with pop, rock, funk, and gospel influences. Expect soaring vocals, dazzling harmonies, heartwarming holiday classics, and behind-the-scenes stories from the Great White Way in a joyful celebration perfect for the entire family. Classical Connections feat. Coleman Itzkoff, Cello

Coleman Itzkoff combines dazzling technique, expressive warmth, and an adventurous musical spirit that has taken him to Carnegie Hall, Wigmore Hall, and stages around the world. The program highlights Franz Joseph Haydn's Concerto for Cello No. 1 in C Major, bookended by Haydn's Symphonies Nos. 82 (“The Bear”) and No. 104 (“London”). Tickets are $35 per person ($15 student / $20 military).
