Celebrate the Holidays at The Village of Baytowne Wharf

Have a Holly, Jolly Christmas at The Village of Baytowne Wharf with a calendar of fun-filled events throughout the month of December. Baytowne is a wonderful place to enjoy holiday shopping, dining and entertainment with friends and family, and this season they're featuring live music performances by local bands, twinkling light shows, a holiday lantern parade and a New Year's Countdown to ring in 2015. To help you keep it all straight, we're giving you this guide to events taking place at The Village of Baytowne Wharf this December.         

Wednesday Night Concert Series Holiday Edition  Enjoy live music loaded with holiday cheer on Wednesday nights in December from 7-9 p.m. with free concert performances in the Events Plaza.

12 Nights of Lights
This festive light show set to holiday music takes place in the Events Plaza at 6, 7, & 8 p.m. on Wednesdays, coinciding with the Wednesday Night Concert Series Holiday Edition. Catch additional shows on Fridays and Saturdays, same times-same place! Admission is free and open to the public. Show dates include: December 3, 5, 6, 10, 12, 13, 17, 19, 20, 24, 26 & 27. 

 
Tuba Christmas & Holiday Lantern Parade
On Saturday, Dec. 13, take in a Christmas Concert, make wonderful memories at the Holiday Lantern Parade and catch a holiday movie under the stars. All three events are open to the public with free admission. 
 
5 p.m. | Playground Music will present Tuba Christmas, a free concert that brings together musicians that play instruments in the tuba family.
6 p.m. | Bring holiday spirit to Baytowne during the 5th Annual Holiday Lantern Parade. Participants are invited to walk with their handmade paper lanterns or drive their decorated golf carts and help bring holiday cheer to The Village of Baytowne Wharf. Create your own paper lantern at the Abrakadoodle workshop beginning at 3:30 p.m.  
7 p.m. | Bring blankets and chairs for a movie under the stars featuring the riotous holiday classic Elf.

Baytowne On Ice
The ice skating rink at The Village of Baytowne Wharf is the perfect opportunity to get into the winter spirit. The seasonal ice skating rink has become a local holiday favorite. Located at the Apex Skating Pavilion and open until Feb. 1. Find details on the SoWal Forum or at www.BaytowneWharf.com. 
 

Baytowne Countdown
You don't want to miss New Year's Eve at the Village of Baytowne Wharf! Dance the night away to live music by Fleetwood Dreams, Alter Eagles and Almost Styx from p.m.-Midnight. Then enjoy breathtaking fireworks as they light up the sky over the lagoon at Midnight. Admission is free and everyone is welcome!
