Gulf World by Dolphin Discovery

Feeding a fever of stingrays, swimming with dolphins and getting smooched by a sea lion is all in a day’s play at Gulf World by Dolphin Discovery. Panama City Beach’s premier marine life facility is the perfect place to learn about the animals that make their homes in the water. Entertaining animal shows, fascinating exhibits and hands-on interaction with marine life create fun memories for the whole family.

Kids and kids-at-heart enjoy thrilling dolphin and sea lion shows, as well as special events and live concerts. Other shows include underwater scuba demonstrations, and interactions with reptiles, feathers and furry friends. Exhibits and aquariums showcase sea turtles, penguins, seals, sharks, sting rays, and a variety of fish and sea life.

Gulf World hosts regular field trips and daily interactive programs for children in our community. Kids can choose from a multitude of educational and interactive opportunities by interacting with sting rays, becoming a trainer for a day, swimming with dolphins, attending a meet-n-greet with sea lions, and learning the ropes at vet camp. Gulf World even has animal therapy for children with special needs. The Tropical Garden Banquet Room at Gulf World is the perfect place to host birthday parties and special events. 

Experts at Gulf World love educating kids and kids-at-heart about the fascinating animals with which we share our planet. Behind the scenes, the longstanding educational facility pulls double duty as the Area Coordinator for the Southeast Marine Mammal Stranding Network. That means when they’re not putting on a show, they’re out rescuing dolphins and sea turtles.

Gulf World Marine Park works with non-profit Gulf World Marine Institute to respond to sick, injured or stranded animals, rehabilitate and release them into the wild, and serve as an educational resource to schools throughout our area.
