Digital Graffiti Returns to Alys Beach May 13-15

April 11, 2016 by SoWal Staff

The annual Digital Graffiti Festival brings together artists from around the world to showcase their digital artworks on Alys Beach’s striking white architecture May 13-15, 2016. Experience  projection art throughout the entire coastal town after dark. Tickets are available for the weekend including Friday night's Curator's Tour, Saturday night's DG Festival and after-party, and Sunday Brunch.

Twenty artists selected for the 2016 festival hail from ten countries. The artists gather in Alys Beach at dusk to showcase their digital artwork and vie for cash prizes totaling $10,000.

“For a local and intimate venue, Digital Graffiti attracts an impressive range of national and international art, and our ninth year continues this legacy,” says Brett Phares, Digital Graffiti Curator. “We have a solid list of finalists that have submitted work for projection, from delicate to bold, minimal to maximal, monochrome to unicorn rainbows—we can’t wait to share it all in May!”
