Run Watersound 5K, 10K and Kids' Fun Run Oct 30

The second annual RUN WATERSOUND will take place on Sunday, October 30th with two new event distances.  In addition to the 5K, this year’s event will feature a 10K and a kids’ fun run for those under 12 years old. All races will begin and end at the Watersound Town Center with a flat scenic course through the paths and street of the Watersound Origins community.

Schedule:
Saturday 30 OCT 11 a.m.–3 p.m. Packet Pick Up: Taking place at Watersound Town Center’s covered event pavilion, registered runners will be able to come pick up their race shirts, bibs and other necessary items for the following day’s race. Sunday October 30st:
7 a.m. Packet Pickup: Watersound Town Center covered event pavilion

8 a.m. RUN WATERSOUND 10K start, 8:10 a.m. 5K start, 8:30 a.m. Kids’ Fun Run start.

The covered event pavilion and neighboring green space at the Watersound Town Center will be transformed into a festival area for registered runners, their family and friends and anyone else interested in participating in the festivities. Races will begin at 8 a.m., taking runners north up Watersound Parkway and through the tranquil Watersound Origins community. Runners will be treated to a beautiful course that utilizes the neighborhood’s paths to maximize safety and enhance the running experience. Awards will be given to the Top 3 males and females overall in both the 10K and 5K. The finish line will be back at Watersound Town Center where live music will continue until 10 a.m.

Featuring ample parking, a covered pavilion, and ceiling fans, Watersound Town Center is located at the entrance to the Watersound Origins community just north of Hwy 98 in South Walton County, Florida.
