The DeFuniak Springs Sprint Triathlon will take place Saturday, May 4. Beginning at 7AM, the triathlon will start with with a 600 yard swim in the second most round lake in the world, followed by 16 mile bike ride into the scenic country, followed by a 5k around the lake through historic Victorian style homes surrounding the lake.
The Seaside School Half Marathon & 5K, presented by Seaside, is back, launching its 22nd year of racing.
Registration, presented by Visit South Walton, is now open for Race Weekend from February 16th through 18th, 2024, further establishing this event as a signature running event and paramount fundraiser in Northwest Florida. Every year, athletes from around the world converge in Seaside, Florida, assisting in funding The Seaside School, Inc., a pioneering and enduring public charter school in Walton County, Florida.
The second annual RUN WATERSOUND will take place on Sunday, October 30th with two new event distances. In addition to the 5K, this year’s event will feature a 10K and a kids’ fun run for those under 12 years old. All races will begin and end at the Watersound Town Center with a flat scenic course through the paths and street of the Watersound Origins community.

The first ever Run Watersound 5K & Film Festival is a two-day event at the Watersound Origins community and the new Watersound Town Center.

Nearly 1,700 runners participated in the 19th Annual Seaside School Virtual Half Marathon and 5K race from Sunday, February 14th to Sunday, February 28th, 2021. Ranging in ages from two to 82 years-old, participants represented 37 states and various countries including Spain, the United Kingdom and Canada.
The Tutu Trot is a public 5k Run/Walk on April 24, 2021 in beautiful Hammock Bay in Freeport, FL benefitting ARC of Walton County and Caring and Sharing of South Walton. After the race, runners will watch the award announcements and then groove to the DJ while they shop local vendor booths and savor deliciousness from the best food trucks around. Visit event sponsors booths and get a free photo print out of you in your tutu with family and friends in the Magic Mirror Photo Booth!
RUN/SUP New Year's Eve Race will take place at The BoatHouse Paddle Club in WaterColor on Thursday, December 31 at 8:00am. Online registration is open at runsup.com - see classes on the calendar. Awards given to top female and male finishers.
