Everyone knows there is a ton of stuff for kids to do in South Walton, especially during Summer! We've compiled a list of organized camps and activities for our little ones and hope you find something they will really like and make some SoWal memories to last a lifetime.

Alys Beach Summer Art Camps

The Hidden Lantern Children's Art Workshops

Camp Rosemary Kid's Krafts
June 4 - August 10
Monday through Friday, 1pm – 4pm, located behind Summer Kitchen Cafe.
Create your very own tie dye t-shirts, glitter tattoos, shark tooth and beaded necklaces, build-a-buddy and much more! All ages are welcome. Prices vary. (Drop in any time but not a drop off program).

Golf Garden Junior Golf Camps
Four and five day camps start in June and run through August.

Summer Splashes
Panama City Swim Team provides an outstanding swim program for children of all ages at Frank Brown Park in Panama City Beach. The Summer Splashes Swim Team is a 10 week program for experienced swimmers of all ages (Monday through Thursday / morning and afternoon classes). Summer Lessons is a five week session (two days per week) for younger children.

Emerald Coast Wildlife Refuge Summerwild Children's Camp
HarborWalk Village in Destin
Grades 1-6 / $150 per week
Weekly sessions from June 4 – August 17 / 9:00am – 3:00pm
Different activities each week with a focus on marine biology, Florida wildlife, visits from live animal ambassadors, beach activities, crafts, and games. A dolphin cruise is offered each week.

Gulfside Stables Summer Riding Camp
Ages 6-12

Summer Kids Cooking Classes at Kitchenique
Kitchenique will be offering a series of cooking classes to empower children in the kitchen and instill a desire to eat well. A series of classes is planned for two age groups: age 5-11 and 12-16. See the schedule online and reserve by phone.  Classes begin June 4.

South Walton Montessori Academy Academic Camp
June 25 – June 29  9:00am – 2:00pm
Lower Elementary Students (ages 6-9 / entering grades 1, 2 or 3)
New students, and those unfamiliar with Montessori will have the opportunity to learn about the Montessori environment and explore our works. Returning/enrolled Montessori students will enjoy exploring more challenging works and discovering new interests in the classroom. TESLA Summer Camps
TESLA is a science, engineering, math and technology based learning center located in Seagrove Beach. The summer session will include two camp options for interested families not currently enrolled in TESLA.
Sessions run June 4 – August 3 (each week is one session). Enroll in morning and/or afternoon camps.
Academic Camp focusing on math and reading (8:30am-12:00pm).
Hands On Learning Camp to focus on fun projects and activities with a weekly theme (1:00pm – 3:30pm).
$125/week or $225/week for both morning and afternoon sessions.

Compass Rose Academy Summer Day Camp

Northwest Florida State College Kids on Campus
A unique opportunity for summer enrichment and fun learning in a college environment for children entering grades 3-8. Computers 101, My Robot, Martial Arts Mania, Cartooning, Hip Hop, Improv, Creative Writing, web design and more!
Two sessions offered: June 18-28 and July 16-26
Classes are Monday through Thursday at the NWF State College Niceville Campus.

Florida 4-H Camp 
Camp Timpoochee is the home of Marine Camp, an overnight summer camp where campers ages 8-13 explore all marine life and enjoy fishing, snorkeling, swimming, canoeing and many other recreational activities.
Camp Timpoochee is located on the shore of Choctawhatchee Bay in Niceville.

Games, art lesson & movie at the Community Center on Fridays for ages 4-12 from 7:00pm – 10:00pm.

Fired Up Paint-Your-Own Pottery is a fun, family-friendly place where you can paint your art on unique pottery pieces.  Check out the online calendar filled with Kids' nights and special events such as “Fishy Handprints” and “Paint Me a Story”. 850-231-3211.

Sand Sculpting lessons offered by master sand sculptor Mark Flynn on Wednesdays at Alys Beach (11:00am) and then at Seaside at 1:00pm. No charge.

Children's  Outdoor Theater entertains the whole family  with highly entertaining productions at Seaside, Alys Beach and Rosemary Beach.  Make the rounds along Scenic 30-A to catch Beanie and the Bamboozling Book Machine in Seaside on Monday nights, The Emperor's New Clothes in Rosemary Beach on Wednesdays, and River Rat and Cat at Alys Beach on Thursdays.  All shows begin at 6:30pm.  Bring low back chairs or blanket.  Free and open to the public.
