The Runwell is a hand-assembled timepiece made from the finest components available in the world. Features of The Runwell include a sapphire crystal, Super-LumiNova printed dial details, and a solid stainless steel case with screw down crown. Two hands and remote secondhand sweep are driven by the Detroit-built Argonite 1069 high-accuracy quartz movement. From the laser-etched case back to the etched lightning bolt on the buckle, every detail of The Runwell has been engineered with an obsessive focus on making a watch of the highest possible quality.

Shinola has such a captivating All-American story, all about preserving a legacy through their collaborations. Shinola made a business motivated decision to open a factory in the economically depressed city that has been struggling to maintain its former glory, with the beliefs products should be built to last and that they should be built right here in America. To build the first handmade watch in Detroit, they had to build the first watch factory in Detroit. Their production line is among the most modern in the world, and the Shinola factory adheres to Swiss quality standards. Everything is done by hand, from building their own movements to final assembly.
