Alys Beach Spring Concert Series:  Wednesdays 6-8pm

The Mardi Gras 5K Run/Walk & 1 Mile Family Fun Run/Walk will kick off Mardi Gras festivities at Pier Park, Panama City Beach, FL.  The run/walk will be held at Frank Brown Park starting at 8 a.m. The fun run will start immediately following the 5K.  We will have a Mardi Gras theme costume contest (please use discretion since families will be present!). 

A Wine Dinner with Ehren Jordan kicks off 30A Wine Festival weekend on Wednesday at Fonville Park from 6-9pm.  The wine dinner features Winemaker Ehren Jordan of 

Celebrate one of Northwest Florida's greatest traditions at Eglin's 33rd annual Gate-To-Gate Memorial Run/Walk. This competitive race is open to the general public, and to all ages and skill levels. There will also be a free kids run after the start of the main race. The 4.4-mile course on Eglin AFB starts at Unity Park, follows Eglin Boulevard to Memorial Trail and ends at Unity Park. Flowers will be provided for each runner to drop at the Veteran’s Memorial along the route.

Shore Stories will head to Grayton Beer Company Thursday, March 1st to show six short films that highlight the grassroots resistance taking place across the US, as well as stories from past oil and gas exploration. The Stories are told by a broad range of people who love the coast and stand together in opposition to drilling--surfers, fishermen, scientists, environmentalists, business owners, and coastal residents.

After the films a discussion will be held on the proposal and how you can get involved in resisting these disastrous plans.
