For those of you who remember Sea Bar (on 331 - south of the bridge), you probably remember the stunning views and the mood that scene set. The Bay is a new restaurant opening in that location. Owner and Chef Jim Shirley is also the owner of South Walton favorites, Great Southern Cafe and The Melt Down on 30A. The Bay, located right on the Choctawhatchee Bay, will feature a 55-foot food bar, part of which will be a sushi bar.

Enjoy an evening of music at Topsail Hill Preserve State Park every Thursday from 6pm–8pm. Americana Under the Stars starts with an open mic at 6pm in the amphitheater/clubhouse. Park admission is free and a suggested $5 donation benefits the Friends of Topsail Hill. Bring a chair, your favorite beverage, and enjoy some music in the park! There will be food available for purchase at the concerts. The event is family and pet friendly, and fun for all ages.

Local music lovers are crazy for great live music and good times at Williams Backyard Boogie. It has become a favorite gathering spot and music venue tucked away in the woods off Chat Holley Road in South Walton. Forrest and Pherrel Williams created the Backyard Boogie to provide local musicians and the music loving community with a casual and comfortable outdoor venue.

Growing up in the hills of Arkansas, Forrest picked up the guitar when he was 14 years old and has been playing ever since. He grew up listening to Rock, Blues, Country, and Folk music from the 60's up to present day, which has influenced his songwriting. His style covers a variety of music incorporating the acoustic guitar and the harmonica.

The Mattie Kelly Arts Foundation (MKAF) is proud to announce the 19th Annual Concerts in the Village will kick off on Thursday, May 1. The 9-week series will feature local and regional bands performing live from the Dugas Pavilion at the Mattie Kelly Cultural Arts Village every Thursday evening, May 1 through June 26 at 7:00 PM.

Topsail Hill Preserve State Park presents Americana Under the Stars with live music every Thursday night in May, 6-8pm.

Starting with an open mic at 6pm in the amphitheater Topsail and continuing with an evening of music by different artists each week.
