Sandestin Wine Festival April 10-13, 2014

Sandestin Wine Festival takes place every April throughout The Village of Baytowne Wharf. The event is the most established and continuously running wine festival on the Gulf coast and known as the “Kentucky Derby of Wine Festivals.” Always a picture perfect event complete with white tents, grand wine tastings, culinary experiences and live music.

Guests are invited to uncork some fun in the sun and see why the Sandestin Wine Festival is one of the most beloved wine festivals on the coast. Four days of unique events will include the following:

The 28th Annual Sandestin Wine Festival is sure to be the tastiest yet. SoWal.com and Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort have teamed up to give one lucky winner a SoWal Beach Vacation during the festival weekend, Apr. 10-13, 2014. 9th Annual Art in the Park at WaterColor March 15

The WaterColor Community Association will host the 9th Annual Art in the Park on Mar. 15 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in WaterColor's Cerulean Park and Town Center.

Stellar weather is a tradition at Art in the Park and WaterColor provides a perfect setting for the one-day event during the most beautiful time of year. Artists display their works throughout one of South Walton's most beautiful landscapes filled with butterfly gardens, trees, walking paths and fountains. 

Mattie Kelly Arts Foundation Artist Award Winners from the 2013 Festival of the Arts

Over 100 fine artists from the Southeast and cities across the country gathered in Destin last month to exhibit and compete for $9,000 in cash prizes at the 18th Annual Festival of the Arts juried art show held at the Mattie Kelly Cultural Arts Village. Local artist Juan Franciso Adaro, originally from Buenos Aires, Argentina who now resides in Santa Rosa Beach, received the coveted "Best in Show" and $1,500 cash prize for his contemporary artwork.
 

Annual Flutterby Festival Returns to Rosemary Beach Nov 9-10

The annual Flutterby Children’s Arts Festival is one of SoWal's funnest and most colorful festivals, and will once again be held at Rosemary Beach on Nov. 9-10, 2013. Presented by the Merchants of Rosemary Beach and the Cultural Arts Alliance of Walton County (CAA), the Flutterby Festival celebrates art, nature, and the migration of the Monarch Butterfly through the region.
