The WaterColor Community Association will host the 9th Annual Art in the Park on Mar. 15 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in WaterColor's Cerulean Park and Town Center.

Stellar weather is a tradition at Art in the Park and WaterColor provides a perfect setting for the one-day event during the most beautiful time of year. Artists display their works throughout one of South Walton's most beautiful landscapes filled with butterfly gardens, trees, walking paths and fountains. 

The 3rd Annual 30A Wine Festival returns to Alys Beach March 7-9 with a showcase of premiere wine producers and culinary favorites. The three-day festival features live music, wine tasting seminars, and wine & culinary grand tastings in one of the most beautiful settings on Florida's Gulf Coast.

For two colorful summer evenings on Jun. 6 & 7, Alys Beach opens its doors, courtyards, and pedestrian paths to innovative companies and artists who transform the entire resort town into a

The Carrier family is as synonymous with Zydeco music as beads are with Mardi Gras. Dikki Du Carrier marks the third generation of the Carriers to keep the musical tradition alive.

“Zydeco is a family thing. If one plays, everyone plays,” says Carrier. His own band consists of his son, first cousin and nephew.

He picked up the washboard at nine years old, the drums at 13, and traveled the world professionally at 19. But Carrier’s life changed when we decided he wanted a band of his own.

Songwriters and music lovers headed to South Walton from every direction. The 5th edition of the 30A Songwriters Festival was bigger and better, with more great music from January 17-19, 2014.

Over 100 fine artists from the Southeast and cities across the country gathered in Destin last month to exhibit and compete for $9,000 in cash prizes at the 18th Annual Festival of the Arts juried art show held at the Mattie Kelly Cultural Arts Village. Local artist Juan Franciso Adaro, originally from Buenos Aires, Argentina who now resides in Santa Rosa Beach, received the coveted "Best in Show" and $1,500 cash prize for his contemporary artwork.
 

The annual Flutterby Children’s Arts Festival is one of SoWal's funnest and most colorful festivals, and will once again be held at Rosemary Beach on Nov. 9-10, 2013. Presented by the Merchants of Rosemary Beach and the Cultural Arts Alliance of Walton County (CAA), the Flutterby Festival celebrates art, nature, and the migration of the Monarch Butterfly through the region.

Celebrate the 13th Annual Film Festival at WaterColor under the stars with your friends and family at the Marina Park Amphitheater for two evenings of extraordinary films on Nov. 1 and 2.
