Camp Helen State Park invites you to go beyond your park visit, and discover the past and present, on a ranger guided walking tour where you can learn about the rich history of Camp Helen’s Historic District on the first Saturday of each month. Led by informative and entertaining rangers, you will discover and connect with the history that literally surrounds Camp Helen State Park, a Nationally Registered Historic Place.

First Saturday of Each Month | 10AM - 11AM
Additional Information: Meet in the Visitor Center and be sure to bring water and wear comfortable walking attire. Tours take place in the outdoors and may be subject to cancellation due to inclement weather conditions.
Camp Helen State Park is located at 23937 Panama City Beach Parkway, just west of the Phillips Inlet Bridge on the Bay County and Walton County line.
Camp Helen State Park is bordered on three sides by the Gulf of Mexico and Lake Powell, one of the largest coastal dune lakes in Florida. Activities include swimming, beachcombing, nature study, hiking, and both freshwater and saltwater fishing.
