Emerald Coast Theatre Company: A Wrinkle in Time

The performance schedule for “A Wrinkle in Time,” runs Dec. 7 through 23 on Thursday through Saturday at 7:30 p.m. with Sunday matinees at 2 p.m. with an additional matinee on Saturday, Dec. 23 at 2 p.m. Performances take place at ECTC’s space located upstairs at 560 Grand Boulevard in Grand Boulevard shop + dine destination located in Miramar Beach, Florida. Ticket prices are $26 for adult, $22 for senior, $18 students and can be purchased online at EmeraldCoastTheatre.org or by calling (850) 684-0323.

​“A Wrinkle in Time” by Madeleine L'Engle, adapted by John Glore is set for Dec. 7-23, 2017. The running time is 75 minutes and includes an additional matinee on Saturday, Dec. 23 at 2 p.m.  One of literature's most enduring young heroines, Meg Murry, is back-stubbornness, braces, and all. Once again, she's joining forces with Mrs. Whatsit, Charles Wallace, Calvin O'Keefe and more to battle the forces of evil so she can rescue her father, save humanity and find herself. In the end, we know two things for sure: 1. Love can overcome evil and 2. There is such a thing as a tesseract. Appropriate for ages 5 and up (no lap children please).

Theater patrons are encouraged to come early (doors open at 6:30 p.m.) to browse artwork by local artists showcased in the ECTC Lobby Gallery curated by artist Lori Drew, founder of Lowkylzart. A portion of proceeds from each sale benefits ECTC and its education outreach and scholarship programs.

Emerald Coast Theatre Company (ECTC) launches its fifth season on the Northwest Florida Gulf Coast with four productions on its professional main stage located at Grand Boulevard.  The 2017-18 season will include a musical comedy, a play, a docudrama and a romantic comedy.
