South Walton Community Council (SWCC) is holding the first Forum for the 2016 year on May 19, 2016 at 6:00pm.

"Disaster Preparedness and Emergency Management – We’re not just hurricanes! "

Mr. Goldberg will speak about Emergency Management and what the department does outside of hurricane season as well as how to prepare yourself, your family, and your home for all types of disasters including hurricanes. In addition, he will also discuss the procedures residents and businesses need to follow in order to return to South Walton after a storm has passed.

After the presentation, you will have the opportunity to ask Mr. Goldberg questions. The public is invited to this forum.

Padgett Park is tucked away on 17 acres off J.D. Miller Road behind South Walton High School.
