Endometriosis or “endo” affects an estimated 176 million women and girls worldwide. Everyone knows someone with endo whether they realize it or not. It’s a body-wide disease that occurs when tissue similar to the lining of the uterus is found elsewhere in the body causing pain, organ dysfunction, and/or infertility. No one definitively knows the cause, and there is no known cure. However, with the right information & resources, girls and women with endo can take actionable steps to lead healthy, vibrant lives.
EndoWhat? is a film that finally cuts through all the misinformation and myths surrounding the disease, providing an accurate base of knowledge and resources straight from the top experts themselves.
