Oktoberfest at The Gulley Amphitheater Gulf Place

Join in the Oktoberfest fun in The Gulley Amphitheater at Gulf Place! Bring the whole crew out for Hope's 2nd Annual Oktoberfest on Sunday, October 28th from 11am - 3pm! Hosted by HOPE on the Beach, plan to start your day in worship on the beach at 8:00am @ Ed Walline Park or at 11:00am on the Gulf Place Amphitheatre Lawn. The Oktoberfest festivities begin at noon. Prizes for the best Oktoberfest costumes will be awarded at 2:00p.m

Free festivities include a live authentic polka band, face painting, costume contest, inflatable slide, photo booth, crafts, and games for the whole family.

Buy your meal tickets now with children 10 and under FREE, and save time registering at the event. Each meal ticket is good for one plate of authentic German cuisine which includes a beer brat or hotdog on a bun, German potato salad or bag of chips, coleslaw, pretzel, sauerkraut, don’t forget about all the fixings for your brat or dog, and a cookie! (Additional tickets may be purchased if you want more than one plate.)

Idyll Hounds Brewery and Pecan Jacks ice-cream will be onsite for additional purchase.

Proceeds from this event will benefit Westonwood Ranch in Freeport. These funds will help them continue assisting teens and young adults with autism or other developmental challenges learn and grow through farm based educational programs. They will be onsite to talk to you about their programs and vision.

Head over to Shunk Gulley Oyster Bar before and after the event. The restaurant is just across Hwy 393. Can't miss it!

Shunk Gulley Oyster Bar is a  Gulf view restaurant featuring classic coastal cuisine, stunning views and authentic southern hospitality. The restaurant and bar is named after the hard-to-find “shunk gulley” reef in the Gulf of Mexico. The intersection of Highway 393 and 30A served as a point of navigation for boaters along the coast. Once used as a landmark for the legendary fisherman of South Walton, the new Shunk Gulley bar and restaurant hopes to be a mainstay for locals to gather, visitors to enjoy, all while continuing the legacy of conservation.
