Join Park Services Specialist Jeff Talbert at Topsail Hill Preserve State Park for a Sunset/Night Hike Jun 19 at 7pm.
Watch a South Walton sunset on the beach, learn about rare coastal dune lakes, and encounter wildlife during a one mile hike along a paved trail. Jeff will discuss the various ecosystems while pointing out native flora and fauna. After sunset, watch as the stars emerge in the sky. Bring a flashlight, water, and wear closed toe shoes. The 1 mile hike should take about 1.5 hours, dependent on audience participation.
Event subject to cancellation due to high winds or inclement weather. Space is limited to 30 participants, mimimum of 5. Fee is $15 + park entry fee. For more information on summer programs, and to register, visit www.basinalliance.org.
