i too am intrigued by this house design wise. one thing that gets to me though is tht there appears to be no way to close off the master from the great room below.

I noticed this house last year while here for Christmas, and I think it shines. Exposed venting pipes are very common in modern architecture.

I also found it interesting that the master bedroom upstairs was on the 30A side of the house rather than the Gulf side.
Sort of like the Southern Accents showhouse at WaterSound that had the upstairs porches facing away from the beach.
I kinda like it from the outside. Add a windmill, a yard full of tulips, a few goats, and some beautiful Dutch people in wooden shoes, and it would look like a fairy tale.
The location is great, if you don't mind everyone driving by and scrutinizing your house.
If I ever have the opportunity build an unusual house, I think I would try to find a spot a little more secluded, quiet, and away from prying eyes. The house will be for me and my family, not for the general public.

It's got porches all around, and a functional widow's walk at the top. I started shooting it the other day and will finish next week and post.
I'm speaking about the second floor. I have the floorplan. Maybe it's inaccurate.
