3.8 lbs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yippee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I've been bad. It's been crappy weather, so I've been cooking/eating:bang: No excuse.
I did watch Oprah with Bob Greene on Monday and got kinda motivated to at least check out his new diet book. You can get it free at Tom Thumb if you buy $50 worth of the foods he recommends. Some of the success stories were pretty inspiring.
Today was the first day since I started taking the Wellbutrin that I just for a fleeting moment thought, "this cigarette tastes like sheeeeeit". Maybe there's something to it...my quit day is Feb 14.
OL--keep it up!! YOU are inspiring!! Good girl!!! :clap_1: :clap_1:

Was it just me, or did Oprah not interupt Bob Greene everytime he tried to talk? I don't think he was able to complete one sentence the entire show!

OMG GTTBM I was thinking the same thing !!!!!! let the man talk !!!!

I guess when you have more $$$$ than God, you can get away with it. I found it more than annoying and very rude. :pissed:

YES! I thought that too!!! That's one reason I wanna get the book. When he was able to talk, he had some good points.
I shouldn't have to buy a book, I've done this a million times, but it always help motivate me...those success stories.

SGL!!! Good job, girl!!! :clap_1: :clap_1:

Okay, Sowellers! Where are ya! I'm hanging in there on WW. I went to my second week weigh in and lost 3.8 pounds. I'm finding out that I really can't eat any kind of junk food...like baked lays etc.. I just want more if I eat a little. It's best not to even start.

How's everyone else doing?

:clap_1: What a great start OL! Congrats!:clap_1:

Ocean Lover that is so great!!!!!! almost four pounds:clap_1: I am hanging in there, weight watchers, under 20 points a day, workout four times a week and walk every night...................BUT I need to go buy a scale, mine is broken:roll: going to target tomorrow !!!!

Wow! Good job SGL! I need to move! That's the missing link with me. I need to get inspired. I'd buy cute workout clothes, buy I'm not sure there's that much spandex in the free world! :funn: Keep up the good work! :clap_1:

hey nay nay and all - way to go!!!:clap_1:

let me know how you like Bob Greene's new book. I read his first book several years ago and he's just a good common sense kind of guy, no gimmicks. I found him to be motivating for me, but he didn't lay out a detailed diet in that book, which I need and like.

nay nay - that wellbutrin works pretty quick - it tells your mouth that that ciggy tastes like sheeeit.

I am so proud of you all - truly!

:clap_1: :clap_1: :clap_1: to everyone. And DD, special :clap_1: :clap_1: :clap_1: to you... Feb 14 is a wonderful date to pick to stop smoking -- awwwwww, it means you love yourself  and that's certainly my motto for 2007.

So, I remind myself of that every day that I'm exercising. Started with a trainer last week as I said earlier on this board and I saw her again on Tuesday. And I've been walking on the treadmill in between and lifted some weights on my own over the weekend. So, I've stuck to it for a week. I have a calendar on the wall in the basement where I exercise so I keep trac, of how I exercised, my weight, and even how much I slept that night (I used to not sleep well at night but I'm sleeping much better now but -- it's hard to believe -- but it's hard to train an early riser to sleep later!). Haven't lost much weight yet (maybe 1 lb by this Thursday). OL, you are right that even eating one little extra thing seems to add up. Drat. So I gave up those hershey kisses I eat at the office. Unfortunately, I think the only way I'll keep up the training is if I keep going to the trainer twice a week -- but she's fantastic and I actually enjoy the sessions.

How's Tootsie doing?
