Thanks for the advice. Pain management is so difficult because the only meds that really help are too addictive to be a long-term solution.
I gotta say, my current pain started after wearing those stupid (& expensive!) orthotics for my plantar fasciitis! I've worn them for about 6 weeks & I think it has completely thrown my musculoskeletal frame off. I took those babies out of my shoes today and have returned to walking around barefoot for the first time in about 5 months. If I were you BR, don't go the orthotic route if you don't have to!

Welcome to the world of people reporting side effects! It probably has to do with the sodium retaining fluid in the intravascular space. That said, millions of people are popping Aleves today and having nary a problem at all;-)

So if millions are popping the Aleve with nary a problem, does that mean that hundreds of thousands are getting headaches from them (3%-9%)?

Interesting. I've had shoes that give me an intense headache. It was difficult to narrow the headache cause to the shoes because my feet weren't hurting as bad as my head.

Yes, this is one of the worst, continuous pain I've had to deal with in a long, long time. I mean, I don't think I've ever awakened from deep sleep, crying from intense knee pain, frozen in a locked position. I really feel for those who have arthritis.

expand on this, please. :dunno:

Cellulitis is an infection of the skin with some extension into the subcutaneous tissues. I thought that the insect bites introduced bacteria into her skin which caused the infection...maybe it was just a severe reaction to the bites, however, she did have cellulitis in the past, which is a risk factor to develop it in the future, so I put her on a course of antibiotics.

Many times a torn meniscus causes a knee to freeze-has anyone explored this?
