I know, but she's not frequenting the board lately, so I think I'm safe.
:rotfl: Wrong. Don't you think she is smart enough to do a search for her username when she logs back on, knowing that you will have talked about her?:funn:

Poor BJ!
The worst I ever had was after sitting under a lamp at a very long time ago boyfriend's house...my face FRIED......:sosad: that combined with my families propencity towards skin cancer....I am wishing I had never done it....

BR, I don't get it. She needed a cardiologist from Duke to diagnose and treat sunburn? and then gets oxycodone to ease the pain? Sounds like she needed a whippen. :funn:
Well, it's just that we were in Durham, Big D was in La-La land from the anesthesia in the recovery room, she was in pain, and the only doctor in town whom I knew was the cardiologist. He felt sorry for us and took care of it so we wouldn't have to wait for hours in the ER on top of waiting almost half a day to see if Big D would survive.

Not telling.:rotfl: And it won't happen again either.

Got a feeling me & Ms. Darg may have something in common. In my case, it was many years/pounds/sizes ago. And likewise, that won't be happening again.

The funniest sunburn I've ever seen was when ShallowsFuzz protected the top of his head with a mesh ballcap. Red polka dots...

If ShallowsSquirt joins in, I'll let him tell you about the most un-funny sunburn we've ever dealt with...purple shoulders and Benadryl. :sosad:

Spring Break Daytona Beach 1984..sunburned so badly that it was kind of like blood poisoning.:yikes: My skin was purplish underneath. Right above my knees were swollen and it was not comfortable! Nothing a day out of the sun couldn't cure though. We laid out from 8am -4pm straight everyday but that one day. I was a bronze goddess though when I got home. I ;-) would have made Audie proud.

BR! I didn't intentionally ignore your story about Jacket's ordeal...I went to get some water in the middle of my post and got detained.

At least you can now tell her (if you are brave enough) that she is not alone in having experienced that...
