back in HS before PCB was a pimple, Ft. Lauderdale was the place for spring break. As locals, we would do the crawl along the strip, and marvel at the degrees of redness on the hotties. you could almost judge how long they had been there by the damaged skin factor.

I think that wearing sunscreen filters out more harmful rays, so I think you're still getting as tan, but getting less damage.............is this correct?

Stay out of the sun's direct light during the prime cancer hours (aka - prime tanning hours by some), wear sunblock, wear long sleeves, wear a hat. -- just my $.02

No, you tan away at your will. I'm not trying to tell people how to tan, just how to help limit their exposure to the harmful rays of the Sun if they chose to take extra precaution. ;-)

well that's a relief, that you weren't referring to me - whew ! would you believe i haven't been out in the sun since we got home from vaca ?? it is entirely too hot for audie out...
