How the hell did this become a thread about war????
I'd put it at the "International Day of Peace" post that opened the thread. There wouldn't be a cry for a day of peace if someone was not at war. As always, hope this helps.

"Faced with the choice between changing one's mind and proving there is no need to do so, almost everyone gets busy on the proof."
--John Kenneth Galbraith[/QUOTE I love how the Repub candidates bash Romney for changing his mind on abortion. Evolving and changing one's mind when presented with new info is the hallmark of intelligence, not a sign of expedience or weakness.

I thought the exact same thing when I saw him struggle to answer and others giggle at his discomfort. He would be more credible though if he had the courage of his convictions!
available on dvdIf Barbarella had gone over instead of Jane, things would have ended quickly.

Those in charge propagate fear with this tripe. Fear is our default emotion setting, and creating a society of paranoid cowards is just what the boys at Lockheed-Martin et al want. Fear is profitable. Love cannot be patented.Fonda, and other specifics aside, it is easy to see we all operate from fear, some more than others.
I don't know that I am brave enough to be a pacifist, or strong enough to live from love rather than fear, but that is my wish.
i've been told i have a fear of love.

War is more fun to argue about than Fear - which is often the base for war.How the hell did this become a thread about war????

The question, beyond being incredibly stupid, commits a false dilemma, an appeal to emotion, and countless other fallacies too numerous to mention. One does not have to make the choice if they want to live in love or fear. I know that slogan fits well on a tie-dyed shirt, but to those of us that haven?t recently taken a bong hit, it?s laughable. It?s like walking into Fish House and having a server berate you with the offering the grouper special or a can of anchovies. I?m there for the sushi.

Why would a server be offering a grouper special in a fish house....isn't that where you go to buy fresh fish, shrimp, crab, etc....which would be perfect for sushi though.
