Too cold in Colorado for good peaches. GA Peaches are the best and California peaches run a close second.

Those Chilton Co. alabama peaches are yummy too, and I've heard that SC peaches rock as well. Nothin' like a Ga peach though right off the tree. Had a few of them as a kid.

They brag on the Michigan peaches around here. They're tasteless and rock hard. I haven't had a good peach (or fruit for that matter) ever since we moved away from FL.

The best peaches I have had in a long time are from the peach farm in Clanton, Ala. Durbin's. The last couple of years we got peaches from Durbin's on the way to the beach. They were the best.

AMEN to Durbins! I have always heard, take a whif of the peach and, "If it doesn't smell like a peach, it's not going to taste like a peach." Simple-but it works. ;-)
