Hopefully we, too, will have another family member at UF, our daughter who plans to move to Gainesville to be a grad student at UF next fall.Actually, this story has been going around for some time. There is no evidence to prove its validity. Also, athletes have been chewing salt tablets and eating high potassium foods such as bananas for a very loooong time to replace electrolytes in the body. It is not a new concept. UF got the patent, and they have made so much money off the deal that Dr. Johnson would have sued for rights. I am like many others out there and gonna call BS on this one. (I know you are a big fan of FSU and I respect that, but my money goes to UF every semester along with Offspring #1)
