I can't tell if this post is offensive or not....
no matter,rose anna!
I think that's just what Don Imus said, but in terms that would apply to white people. That's how I took it.
frizzy - nappy (although it lacks the historical baggage, greasy might have been better)
redneck - thug
wh*re - ho
As for the f-word, well...I didn't mean to sound like I thought it was fine to use it on morning TV. I don't have kids, so I know my perspective is a little different, but it seems to me that there is so much on GMA that kids don't need to be exposed to that F-word is kind of lost in the mix. Yesterday, they were talking about a woman being raped, murdered by the married man who raped her and impregnated her, and burned in a fire pit, and the police described the fetus outstretched hand reaching out from her burned and decomposing stomach. Um, again I'm childless, but I think if I were a child that kind of crap would be way more damaging than the f-word. Plus, they'll be fined.

Diane Keaton. She is one of my favorite actresses. Imus' comment was totally different because he was being both racist and chauvanistic all in one statement, calling college athletes, nappy-headed ho's. BIG f627in' difference to me. ;-) So ya'lls' kids never heard ya'll say the f bomb? Mine heard me say that several times I'm sure(they're grown ftlog), but never the GD bomb, that was a way bigger :nono1: in our house than the f bomb, not that the f bomb is used that frequently in the first place. It's reserved for really special occasions.
It is different around toddlers and preschoolers though. we sure didn't say it around them because they are like little magnets. The network should've bleeped it, sounds like.

I have an extra scapel here at my house if you need to dissect it anymore...
