I gave up on beach chairs years ago.
What I do is take one of my flip flops sideways and dig a hole big enough for my butt.
All the sand dug out of the hole is used as a pillow.
I then lay my beach towel over the hole and sand pillow and "wha-lah"
instant beach chair!
The deeper the hole you dig the bigger the pillow it really works!
Don't forget to fill the hole back when you leave!

Best chair idea yet!!

We just bought two of these last night at one of our local Walmarts for $13.00 apiece. They were on clearance. We had seen them at Walgreens for $20.00 apiece and this website I found this picture on wants $40.00 apiece. Exact same chair.

But I have to tell you, they seem as heavy as the regular cheaper lounge chairs. But at least we can put these on our back if we need to. They lay back 4 positions.

Yeah, if you want to read at the same time. But you cannot lay on your stomach on it of course on the ones we bought. The one landlocked posted is just like it also but it has a footrest.

That is exactly like the chairs I used to use back in my days of trying to get a melanoma, except for the face-hole and the arms. Lie on your back, or on your tummy, set the clock for twenty minutes and roll.

All I can find now is the light, low to the ground ones, which I look like a hippopotamus trying to get up out of. The chairs are fine, the problem is me. :sosad:
