my spidey is a first grader!!!we had a happy first day and there were no tears at drop off by him or me. he was so ready to be back in school. I wasn't exactly ready for summer schedule to end, and having to adjust to a real schedule, etc. but, its been a great first few weeks.
we do have pictures on someone's camera around here (not mine) so I'll have to wait for them to be available before I can share them.
it was an extra special first day this year at the Montessory school since it was their first day to enter the new school at the new location in Pt Washington. all the children and teachers and families were all smiles and so proud of having such a beautiful environment filled with natural beauty such as old live oaks and massive magnolias, next to Eden Gardens State Park.
thanks to so many dedicated parents and teachers and builders/workers - all renovations were completed and the school was able to open as scheduled on Aug 18. I'll share some photos of the school soon. We are very blessed.

I took Dylan's after first day of school pic.;-) His hair is going through some kind of weird texture change at the moment. Dang puberty.:angry:
