Our founding fathers emphasized our freedoms coming from God - not from the government. Our country was based on Judeo-Christian principles and our system of government was outlined in our Constitution. Americans have moved away from God and their Christian principles, so we are to blame for our leaders not following and upholding our Constitution. It is not too late to return to what made our country great, it will just take time. Do not give up - anything worth having is worth working for. God Bless American AGAIN ...... please.

Patriotism is a way of distinguishing yourself from other states, as a protective mechanism in time of war, but isn't it likely that such distinction, such highlighting of ideological differences often leads to war?

Regarding tone of email. I say it again, the tone of the email, as well as your post, are raging with anger and insults.
I just don't see it as productive.
